Gary Dean'S Favorite Casserole
A hearty casserole combining seasoned ground beef, tender potatoes, and melted cheese, perfect for comforting family dinners or casual gatherings.

Instructions
- Peel potatoes and slice them lengthwise into thin strips.
- In a small skillet, sauté chopped onion until translucent; set aside.
- In a large pan, crumble and brown the ground beef until well cooked.
- Add salt, pepper, the sautéed onion, and one can of cream of mushroom soup to the cooked beef.
- Heat the mixture until very warm.
- Layer the sliced potatoes in a baking dish, then pour the beef mixture over the potatoes.
- Top with cheese slices or shredded cheese as desired.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 20-30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted.
