Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 cup Wesson oil
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons celery seed
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated onion

Instructions

  1. Cook sugar and water until it spins a thread; let cool.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Add the cooled syrup to the mixture and beat thoroughly.
  4. Chill before serving.
