Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Ricotta cheese
  • 1 lb. sour cream
  • 1 lb. cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 oz. (1 stick) butter, melted
  • 3 jumbo eggs
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in the order given into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Beat with a mixer, starting on low, then to medium, and finish with 10 minutes on high until the batter is smooth and liquid.
  3. Grease and flour a 10-inch round baking pan that is 3 inches high.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake in a preheated 350°F (175°C) oven for 1 hour.
  6. Leave the cake in the oven with the door closed for an additional hour after turning off the heat.
  7. Cool the cake on a rack and then refrigerate before serving.
