Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef, seasoned
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 3 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 4 carrots, thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. dry onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can French fried onions

Instructions

  1. Place the ground beef, chopped celery, thinly sliced potatoes, and thinly sliced carrots in a greased casserole dish in the order listed.
  2. Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix on the potatoes and carrots.
  3. Pour the cream of chicken soup over the layered ingredients.
  4. Cover the casserole and bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour and 8 minutes.
  5. During the last 10 minutes of baking, top the casserole with French fried onions.
