Ingredients

  • 1 c. softened butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix softened butter, vanilla, powdered sugar, all-purpose flour, salt, and chopped nuts together to form a dough.
  2. Roll the dough into small balls and flatten them slightly.
  3. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12 to 15 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. Remove from oven and immediately place cookies on a sheet covered with sifted powdered sugar.
  5. Sift additional powdered sugar on top of the cookies before serving.
