Giant Shells

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. parsley flakes
  • 1 egg
  • salt and pepper
  • 18 giant shells
  • 2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook shells as directed.
  2. Brown beef, onion and garlic until beef is crumbly.
  3. Drain fat; cool.
  4. Stir in cheese, crumbs, parsley and eggs.
  5. Stuff shells.
  6. Spoon 1/4 spaghetti sauce in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  7. Place shells on top.
  8. Pour rest of meat and sauce over top.
  9. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  10. Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes.
