Ginger Wings

Ingredients

  • 72 wing dings
  • 1 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 tablespoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. 1.Place wing dings in a large bowl
  3. 2.Blend together the soy sauce, sugars, garlic, ginger and pepper flakes
  4. 3.Toss the chicken and sauce thoroughly, cover with plastic wrap and marinate in refrigerator for 45 minutes
  5. 4.Remove chicken from refrigerator
  6. 5.Place wing dings in two large sheet pans, 36 pieces each (13 x 17.8 inch half baker sheets)
  7. 6.Place both pans in the over at 350 degrees for 20 minutes; turn chicken pieces and baking an additional 15-20 minutes until richly golden brown and tender
  8. 7.Place on warm serving platter and garnish with bite size vegetables, i.e. tomato grapes, slice cucumber and baby carrots.
