Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork sausage
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup saltine or butter-flavored cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar

Instructions

  1. Combine pork sausage, egg, cracker crumbs, milk, and sage in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Shape the mixture into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan, mix water, ketchup, brown sugar, soy sauce, and vinegar to prepare the glaze.
  4. Bring the glaze mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Brush or pour the glaze over the sausage balls and serve.
