Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 to 3 lb. broiler/fryer chicken, cut up
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Arrange chicken pieces skin side up in an 8 x 12-inch baking dish.
  3. Drizzle melted margarine or butter over the chicken.
  4. Bake for 40 minutes.
  5. Spoon the can of cream of celery (or mushroom or broccoli) soup over the chicken.
  6. Bake for an additional 20 minutes or until the chicken is tender and juices run clear.
  7. Transfer the chicken to a platter and stir the sauce.
  8. Spoon the sauce over the chicken and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
