Ingredients
- 1/2 cup vital gluten flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon onion powder ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon soy flour ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- 1/4 tablespoon yeast flakes ⓘ
- 1/4 tablespoon wheat germ ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon sage ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon basil ⓘ
- 1 3/4 cups oats ⓘ
- 1 1/4 cups hot water
- 2 tablespoons oil ⓘ
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce ⓘ
Instructions
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Mix together wet ingredients and add to the dry mixture.
- Spray a coffee can or equivalent canister with Pam.
- Place the gluten mixture into the canister and cover with wax paper.
- Pour one inch of water into a crock-pot.
- Place the canister in the crock-pot.
- Cover and steam on high for 4 hours.
- Remove from the crock-pot and let cool.
- Slice or use in burger recipes.
