Tips & Substitutions

To enhance the flavor of your Golden Scramble, consider adding a splash of vanilla extract to the melted margarine and peanut butter mixture. For a nut-free version, substitute the peanuts with sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds. You can also experiment with different cereals like Cheerios or Special K for varied textures. Remember to stir the mix every 10 minutes while baking for even crispness.

Serving Suggestions

Serve Golden Scramble as a delightful snack or a breakfast option alongside fresh fruit or yogurt. It pairs beautifully with Robert Redford'S Favorite Dessert for a sweet treat. You can also sprinkle it over ice cream or use it as a crunchy topping for a fruit salad. This recipe is versatile enough to enjoy any time of the day.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftover Golden Scramble in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. If you prefer a crunchier texture, reheat it in the oven at 300°F for about 10 minutes. Avoid microwaving as it may make the mixture chewy. This snack is perfect for on-the-go munching or as a topping for yogurt.
