Golden Turkey Lasagna
Golden Turkey Lasagna combines tender turkey, creamy mushroom sauce, and melted Cheddar cheese layered with pasta for a hearty, flavorful meal perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper ⓘ
- 3 tablespoons oleo ⓘ
- 4 ounces canned mushrooms
- 1/4 cup pimento (optional) ⓘ
- 10 ounces can cream of mushroom soup ⓘ
- 1/3 cup milk ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon basil ⓘ
- 8 ounces cooked lasagna noodles ⓘ
- 1 1/2 cups small curd cottage cheese ⓘ
- 3 cups cooked turkey ⓘ
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese ⓘ
Instructions
- Saute onion and green pepper in melted oleo.
- Stir in mushrooms, pimento, soup, milk, and basil.
- Heat the sauce mixture until hot.
- Arrange half of the cooked lasagna noodles in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish.
- Layer half of the sauce, cottage cheese, cooked turkey, and shredded Cheddar cheese over the noodles.
- Repeat the layering with remaining noodles, sauce, cottage cheese, turkey, and Cheddar cheese.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes until bubbly and golden.
