- Cook cabbage in boiling water until tender all through.
- Drain and cool.
- Take leaves apart, separate and dry on a cloth.
- Mix ground beef, cooked rice, diced onions, salt, pepper, and catsup.
- Place a portion of the mixture in a cabbage leaf.
- Be generous but don't overstuff.
- Fold over once, then fold the left and right edges in.
- Fold over to enclose the filling.
- Press lightly to squeeze out any juices.
