Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 c. cold water
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. cooking sherry
  • 3/4 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 oz. pimentos
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. king crab
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 c. snipped parsley

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle unflavored gelatin over cold water to soften, then dissolve over hot water using a double boiler.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Stir in cooking sherry, seasoned salt, chopped pimentos, drained king crab, black pepper, 2 tablespoons of parsley, and the dissolved gelatin.
  4. Pour the mixture into a 3-cup ring mold.
  5. Refrigerate for 4 hours or until set.
  6. To serve, turn out onto a plate.
  7. Garnish with remaining parsley and place parsley sprigs in the center.
