Grandma'S Turkey And Cornbread Dressing

- Cook the cornbread and let it cool.
- Break and crumble the cornbread into a large container.
- Toast the white bread loaf and crumble it into the container with the cornbread.
- Cook the chicken or turkey neck and giblets in boiling salted water until done, about 2 1/2 hours.
- Remove the giblets, dice them finely, and add to the crumbled bread mixture.
- Add the finely chopped onions and celery to the mixture.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg and add it to the mixture along with broth, sage, salt, and pepper.
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly and stuff into a baking dish.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) until heated through and golden on top, about 30-40 minutes.
