Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 large onion
  • 1/4 cup hot chili peppers
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 3/4 cup grated cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • 10 oz can biscuits
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef, chopped onion, and hot chili peppers in a skillet.
  2. Stir in garlic salt, tomato sauce, and chili powder. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Add grated cheese, sour cream, and egg to the mixture. Mix well.
  4. Roll biscuits thin or separate into thin pieces to cover the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch dish. Use half the biscuits for the bottom and half for the top.
  5. Pour the meat mixture over the biscuits on the bottom layer.
  6. Cover with the remaining biscuits on top.
  7. Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
