Ingredients

  • 1 lb. rolled oats
  • 1 c. shredded coconut
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 c. hulled sunflower seeds
  • 1 c. wheat germ
  • 1/2 c. sesame seeds
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 24 pitted dates

Instructions

  1. Combine oats, coconut, nuts, sunflower seeds, sesame seed, and wheat germ in a large bowl.
  2. Heat oil and honey together in a microwave or on the stovetop until almost boiling.
  3. Stir the hot mixture into the dry ingredients, mixing well.
  4. Spread a third of the mixture in a shallow pan and bake at 325°F for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
