Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 package hot and spicy taco seasoning mix
  • 2 (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • shredded lettuce
  • 2 to 3 cups shredded mild Cheddar cheese
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • sliced jalapeno peppers
  • sliced black olives
  • 1 large bag tortilla chips
  • 1 large jar hot salsa

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef; drain.
  2. Add taco seasoning mix according to package directions.
  3. Simmer with jalapeno juice if desired to make it hotter.
  4. Spread softened cream cheese on a small cookie sheet or pizza pan.
  5. Layer with cooked ground beef, salsa, one-third of the shredded cheese, lettuce, remaining cheese, chopped tomato, sliced jalapeno peppers, and black olives.
  6. Serve with tortilla chips for dipping and enjoy.
