Ingredients
- 1/2 pound chicken, cut into pieces ⓘ
- 1 cup green beans, cut at an angle into 2-inch pieces ⓘ
- 1 small onion, coarsely chopped ⓘ
- 2 small green chilies, coarsely chopped ⓘ
- 1 medium potato, cubed into 1-inch pieces ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon green chili paste
- Pinch turmeric ⓘ
- 1/8 teaspoon ajwain seeds ⓘ
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken with salt, garlic, ginger, turmeric, and ajwain seeds.
- In a pot, heat some oil and braise green beans with the onions, green chilies, and potatoes for a few minutes.
- Add the marinated chicken and sauté until lightly browned.
- Pour in 1/2 cup water, cover, and cook over low heat until the chicken is tender, stirring occasionally.
- When the chicken is almost done, add the 2 tablespoons chopped onion and cook for a few more minutes.
