Ingredients

  • 1 cup cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 stick margarine, melted
  • 1/2 pound Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 pound Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pound hamburger
  • whole green chilies

Instructions

  1. Cook the hamburger until browned and cooked through.
  2. Make layers of whole green chilies, cooked meat, and cheeses in a casserole dish.
  3. Beat eggs and milk together until well combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the layered ingredients.
  5. Combine cracker crumbs with melted margarine and sprinkle on top of the casserole.
  6. Bake at 325°F for 45 minutes until bubbly and golden.
