Ingredients

  • 6 frankfurters
  • 3 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 3 Tbsp. catsup
  • 4 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 12 slices bacon
  • 6 frankfurter rolls
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter

Instructions

  1. Combine mustard, catsup, and minced onion in a bowl to make the sauce.
  2. Swirl 2 slices of bacon around each frankfurter, covering completely.
  3. Secure bacon with toothpicks.
  4. Lightly grease the grill.
  5. Brush frankfurters with half of the mustard mixture.
  6. Grill frankfurters, turning frequently, until bacon is crisp.
  7. Spread rolls with melted butter and grill until brown.
  8. Remove rolls and frankfurters from the grill and place on a platter.
  9. Brush rolls with the remaining sauce and serve in the rolls.
