Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 c. catsup
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped green pepper, catsup, vinegar, salt, sugar, prepared mustard, and ground cloves to the beef.
  3. Simmer the mixture for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Optional: double the recipe for larger servings or leftovers.
  5. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 10 days or freeze for longer storage.
