Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 c. diced onion
  • 3 Tbsp. raw rice
  • 3 c. chopped cabbage
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 c. water

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef in oil until crumbly.
  2. Add diced onion, salt, raw rice, tomato soup, and water to the beef.
  3. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Place chopped cabbage in a casserole dish.
  5. Pour the meat mixture over the cabbage without stirring.
  6. Cover the casserole dish and bake in a slow oven at 300°F (150°C) for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
