Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 lb. small curd cottage cheese
  • 1 carton sour cream
  • 1 lb. medium width noodles
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • small onion
  • medium green pepper
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cottage cheese, and sour cream until well combined.
  2. Cook the noodles until al dente, then drain.
  3. In a skillet, cook ground beef with chopped small onion, medium green pepper, salt, pepper, garlic, and oregano until beef is browned and vegetables are tender.
  4. Layer cooked noodles and the cheese mixture in a 13 x 9-inch casserole dish, alternating layers.
  5. Spread the cooked ground beef mixture over the layered noodles and cheese.
  6. Pour the large can of tomato sauce over the top.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 30 minutes until bubbly and heated through.
