Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 small diced onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1 can chicken gumbo soup
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger with diced onion and chopped green pepper.
  2. Drain the hamburger mixture and add prepared mustard, ketchup, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix well and add the undiluted chicken gumbo soup.
  4. Simmer slowly, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes.
  5. Serve the gumbo burger mixture on buns.
