Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 3 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Tabasco sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 12 oz jar green olives
  • 1 pound dried kidney beans

Instructions

  1. In a stock pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add the tomato paste, paprika, Tabasco sauce, salt, black pepper, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper.
  3. Drain the green olives and add them to the soup.
  4. Boil and stir for 1 minute.
  5. Add the bag of dried kidney beans.
  6. Cover with a lid and cook on medium heat for 45 minutes to an hour.
  7. Add 1/2 cup water if needed during cooking.
