Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. country style Dijon mustard
  • 2 medium tart apples, cored and sliced
  • 1 lb. ham steak

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt margarine until sizzling.
  2. Stir in brown sugar and Dijon mustard.
  3. Add sliced tart apples to the skillet.
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until apples are crispy-tender, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  5. Place the ham steak in the same skillet.
  6. Arrange the cooked apples on top of the ham.
  7. Cover the skillet.
  8. Continue cooking until the ham is heated through, about 5 to 7 minutes.
