Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. chopped celery
  • 3/4 c. chopped onions
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 heads broccoli
  • 3/4 c. cubed cooked Irish potatoes, drained
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 4 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Saute celery and onions in margarine at low heat until tender.
  2. Chop broccoli and cook in water until it begins to tender. Drain.
  3. Mix the cooked broccoli with the celery and onion mixture.
  4. Add the cubed, cooked potatoes (drained) to the mixture.
  5. Add salt, pepper, milk, cheese, and chopped cooked ham to the mixture.
  6. Simmer until heated through and flavors meld.
