Ingredients

  • 4 carrots, diced
  • 4 stalks celery, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 4 large potatoes
  • 5 cups water
  • 2 to 3 cups chopped ham
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
