Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onions
  • salt and pepper as desired
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 box Jiffy cornbread mix

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger with minced onions.
  2. Drain excess fat and season with salt and pepper as desired.
  3. Add milk and cream of mushroom soup to the cooked meat mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
  5. Mix Jiffy cornbread mix according to package instructions.
  6. Pour or spoon the cornbread batter over the top of the casserole.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 to 45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
