Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 box Jiffy cornbread mix

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet and add chopped onions.
  2. Add chili powder, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and canned tomatoes.
  3. Simmer the mixture for 15 minutes, then add the kidney beans.
  4. Pour the meat and bean mixture into a greased 2-quart casserole dish.
  5. Prepare the Jiffy cornbread mix according to the directions on the box and spread it over the meat mixture.
  6. Bake at 425°F for 15 to 20 minutes until the cornbread is golden.
