Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef or chuck
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup uncooked rice
  • 4 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • chow mein noodles

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet.
  2. Add both cans of chicken and mushroom soups and 1 can of water.
  3. Stir in the uncooked rice and soy sauce.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake uncovered at 350°F for 1 hour.
  5. Sprinkle chow mein noodles on top and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
