Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 (21 oz.) can pork and beans
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • hot sauce to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, sauté the onion in vegetable oil until tender.
  2. Add the ground beef and sprinkle with garlic salt, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brown the beef and onion mixture; then drain excess grease.
  4. Add the pork and beans, tomato sauce, and hot sauce to the skillet.
  5. Simmer the mixture for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
