Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 1 1/2 cups macaroni
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 beaten egg
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet.
  2. Add undiluted tomato soup and cook for 15 minutes until thickened, stirring frequently.
  3. Cook macaroni until tender.
  4. In a bowl, add beaten egg and milk to the cooked macaroni.
  5. Spread the macaroni mixture in a greased jelly roll or cookie pan.
  6. Spread the cooked tomato beef mixture on top of the macaroni.
  7. Place thin slices of cheese on top.
  8. Bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
