Ingredients

  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 6 cups Bisquick or pancake mix
  • 1 1/2 cups oil
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Mix together the cornmeal, Bisquick or pancake mix, oil, sugar, salt, baking powder, eggs, vanilla, and milk until well combined.
  2. Grease and flour two 9 x 13-inch baking pans.
  3. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans.
  4. Bake in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
