Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 12 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • soda crackers

Instructions

  1. Line a jelly roll pan with foil.
  2. Arrange soda crackers in 7 rows down and 5 across in the pan.
  3. In a saucepan, boil butter and brown sugar for 2 1/2 minutes after reaching a rolling boil.
  4. Pour the caramel mixture over the soda crackers.
  5. Bake in a 350°F oven for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle milk chocolate chips on top.
  7. Let sit for a minute until chocolate melts, then spread the chocolate evenly over the crackers.
  8. Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top.
  9. Cut into squares while still warm.
