Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (16 oz) can green beans
  • 1 (15 1/2 to 19 oz) can garbanzo beans
  • 1 (15 1/2 to 19 oz) can kidney beans
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 small green pepper, chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, oil, vinegar, and salt in a saucepan.
  2. Heat on high for 3 to 5 minutes until the mixture boils and the sugar dissolves.
  3. Drain and rinse the green beans, garbanzo beans, and kidney beans.
  4. Add chopped onion and green pepper to the beans.
  5. Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the bean mixture and toss to combine.
  6. Chill before serving.
