Instructions
- Cream sugar and butter together until smooth.
- Add cream, white Karo syrup, and salt; blend until smooth.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
- Pour the filling into a 9-inch pie crust.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 to 30 minutes until slightly browned and thickened.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans on top of the pie.
- Bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes until a knife inserted between edge and middle comes out clean.
- Serve plain or with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
