- Place tomato halves in a shallow baking pan and season with salt, pepper, and marjoram.
- Top the tomato halves with bread crumbs, dot with 3 teaspoons of butter, and sprinkle with minced parsley.
- Arrange mushroom caps, rounded side down, around the tomatoes in the pan.
- Season the mushroom caps with salt and pepper, and dot with the remaining 3 teaspoons of butter.
- Broil the assembled dish for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Invert each mushroom cap and place one on each tomato half.
- Serve immediately.
