Ingredients

  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. dried rosemary
  • 1/4 tsp. dried basil
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 3/4 c. low-fat buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Combine all the dry ingredients, including flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and dried herbs, in a large bowl.
  2. Cut in the margarine using a pastry blender until the mixture is crumbly.
  3. Add the buttermilk and stir with a fork just until the ingredients are moistened.
