Ingredients

  • 3/4 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 (10.6 oz) tube refrigerated Pillsbury bread sticks
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine dried Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and crushed red pepper flakes.
  3. Separate the dough into strips and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  4. Brush the tops of the dough strips with the beaten egg.
  5. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the brushed tops.
  6. Hold one end of a strip in each hand and twist in opposite directions to form a spiral.
  7. Return the twisted dough to the baking sheet, pressing gently on each end to secure.
  8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
