Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 (32 oz.) package frozen bread dough
  • all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Brush a 15 x 10 inch jellyroll pan with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and set aside.
  2. Turn the bread dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead 3 to 4 times until smooth.
  3. In a small bowl, stir together the softened margarine, 3/4 tablespoon of rosemary and dill, and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Gradually knead the margarine mixture into the bread dough until the dough is smooth and elastic, adding additional flour if necessary.
  5. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
  6. Using your fingertips, press small indentations into the top of the dough.
  7. Sprinkle the garlic, remaining rosemary, and dill over the top.
  8. Drizzle the remaining 3 tablespoons of olive oil over the dough.
  9. Sprinkle with kosher salt, if desired, and ground pepper.
  10. Cover and let rise in a warm, draft-free place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  11. Bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
