Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup minced green onions
  • 1/4 cup parsley
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon cloves
  • 6 tablespoons melted margarine
  • 4 teaspoons olive oil
  • 4 halibut steaks

Instructions

  1. Mix bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, green onions, parsley, basil, and cloves in a bowl.
  2. Stir in melted margarine.
  3. Brush four 12-inch foil squares lightly with olive oil.
  4. Place one halibut steak on each foil square.
  5. Drizzle the steaks with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. Top each steak with the crumb mixture.
  7. Spoon wine around each steak.
  8. Seal the foil packets securely.
  9. Place the packets on a baking sheet.
  10. Bake at 450°F (232°C) for 8 minutes or until the fish flakes easily.
