Ingredients

  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • popcorn

Instructions

  1. Heat brown sugar, butter, and light corn syrup in a saucepan until bubbly around the edges.
  2. Cook for 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda until foamy.
  4. Pour the caramel mixture over the popped popcorn and stir to coat evenly.
  5. Transfer to a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 200°F for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
