Ingredients

  • 5 lb hamburger
  • 5 tsp Morton quick salt
  • 2 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 1/2 tsp mustard seed

Instructions

  1. Mix the hamburger with the seasonings (salt, garlic powder, pepper, mustard seed).
  2. Knead the mixture well and refrigerate for 4 days.
  3. Each day, take out the mixture, knead again, and return to the refrigerator.
  4. On the 4th day, knead the mixture and shape it into 4 rolls.
  5. Place the rolls on a rack and bake at 140°F for 8 hours.
  6. Turn the sausage every 2 hours during baking, then enjoy.
