Honey Gingerbread

Instructions
- Cream shortening.
- Add and blend in sugar.
- Beat in honey and eggs until mixture is light.
- Mix and sift dry ingredients and add to honey mixture alternately with hot water.
- Pour into a greased 9-inch loaf pan and bake at 375° for 20 minutes.
- Reduce heat to 350° and bake for 10 to 15 minutes longer.
