Ingredients

  • 3 cups corn bran cereal
  • 1 cup Quaker oats
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix corn bran cereal, oats, pecans, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine margarine, honey, and brown sugar.
  4. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until melted and well blended.
  5. Pour the honey and butter mixture over the cereal mixture; mix until thoroughly coated.
  6. Spread the mixture into a 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown, turning occasionally.
  8. Immediately spread the mixture onto waxed paper.
  9. Stir in raisins.
  10. Cool completely before storing in a tightly covered container.
