Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 c. honey

Instructions

  1. Mix eggs, vegetable oil, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Gradually stir in enough flour to form very stiff dough.
  3. Knead the dough for 5 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough in half and roll each portion as thin as possible on a well-floured surface using a cloth-covered rolling pin.
  5. Cut the rolled dough into 8-inch by 1-inch strips.
  6. Tie each strip loosely into a knot.
  7. Cover the twisted strips with a damp towel to prevent drying.
