Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 6 to 8 ripe bananas
  • 2 Tbsp baking soda
  • 3 Tbsp boiling water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cloves
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs in a bowl.
  2. Add sugar and beat well.
  3. Mash bananas and mix with the egg and sugar mixture.
  4. Mix baking soda with boiling water.
  5. Add the baking soda and water mixture to the banana mixture.
  6. Add salt.
  7. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
  8. Add chopped nuts and raisins, dates, or figs.
