Ingredients

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 can (15.5 oz.) crushed pineapple
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix self-rising flour, soda, crushed pineapple, sugar, and eggs in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
  4. Sprinkle brown sugar and chopped pecans evenly over the top of the batter.
